بتمويل من الصندوق الكندي للمبادرات المحلية، بدأت جمعية حقي إورث بتنفيذ مشروع حول حق المرأة بالإرث في قضاء بعلبك.
سيتخلل المشروع تدريب ٢٤٠ امرأة ورجل حول قوانين الإرث لدى كل الطوائف اللبنانية، والتصويب على طرق حرمان المرأة من الإرث (تزوير، ضغط، خجل…)، كما يتمّ تقديم استشارات قانونية مجّانية للنساء من أجل تحصيل حقوقهن بالإرث.
من أجل التعمّق بحيثيات حرمان المرأة من الإرث سيتم إجراء احصاءات وأبحاث ومقابلات ومجموعات حواريّة، بهدف إيجاد الحلول المناسبة لتحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية.
With funding from The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, Haqi-Awrath association began implementing a project on women’s right to inheritance in Baalbek District.
The project will include trainings for 240 women and men about inheritance laws of all Lebanese sects, and correcting ways to deprive women of inheritance (forgery, pressure, shame…). Free legal consultations will also be provided to women in order to obtain their rights.
In order to delve deeper into the reasons behind depriving women of inheritance, statistics, research, interviews and focus groups discussion will be conducted, with the aim of finding appropriate solutions to achieve social justice.
