Funded by GIZ to Enhance CSOs’ Capacity to Foster Social Stability

The project aimed to increase the capacity of civil society organizations to promote social stability. It was implemented in two interlinked phases. The first phase focused on capacity building for the Haqqi Awrath Association team by strengthening institutional management, planning, and operational implementation skills. This contributed to improving internal efficiency, decision-making mechanisms, and organizational sustainability.

The second phase involved the implementation of a community-based project entitled “Unity Kitchen” in Hawch Al-Snaid area, adjacent to the association’s center. This phase was carried out under the supervision of Alert International and adopted a participatory approach to address local community issues and enhance social cohesion.

Overall, the project strengthened Haqqi Awrath’s institutional resilience and expanded its active role in supporting social stability in the Hasbaya and Southern Baalbek regions, through improved community partnerships and enhanced responsiveness to local needs.
